Hello Kids,

During this week we will study the following topics:

1st grade: On Monday you will finish your investigations about Halloween and Day of the Dead.
                 On Tuesday you will do a presentation about your investigations.  On the following days
                 we will study present simple. On Friday you'll need your tablets, don't forget to bring them

2nd grade: On Monday you will finish  your investigations, also we'll study simple past regular and
                  irregular verbs. On Friday you'll present your investigations about Halloween and The
                  Day of the Dead. The ones that read The Pearl must deliver your book report on Friday
                  no more than 2 pages hand-written.

3rd grade: We will practise comparative and superlative. On Wednesday you'll present your
                 investigations done last week. On Friday you'll need to bring your tablets.

Durante ésta semana estudiaremos los temas arriba mencionados.

1er grado: El martes presentarán en clase su investigación de Halloween y Día de Muertos. El viernes trabajaremos con tablets, no olviden traerlas.

2o grado: El lunes terminarán el trabajo de investigación que están haciendo en clase. Ëste lo presentarán el viernes. Quienes están leyendo el libro The Pearl, deberán entregar el reporte el viernes 16 de octubre, escrito a mano máximo 2 cuartillas (deberá traer portada). Realizaremos lecturas adicionales en clase para quienes no están leyendo éste libro.

3er grado: El miércoles presentarán sus investigaciones realizadas la semana pasada, El viernes 16 trabajaremos con las tablets, no olviden traerlas.

HALLOWEEN OR DAY OF THE DEAD ?

Hello Kids,

For All groups, during this week we will do a research about Halloween and "The day of the Deads". The ones that can bring your tablets to school we will work with them on Wednesday 7th.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - AVISOS IMPORTANTES

Hello Kids,

Since September 28th will begin the sale of the first book from the Annual Reading Programme (Spanish Class). This activity is reported to SEP. All exams related to this Reading are made on line, with an Access code that is given by the Publisher "Santillana" , in order that students can answer the questions. The books will be available in our School since Monday 28th.

Also school, gives you the opportunity to rent a locker ($50.00 per month). The benefits to  rent a locker are:
1) Students won't carry hevy weight on their school bags.
2) The corridors inside the classrooms will be free for passing in case of an emergency
3) To fulfill a requirement made by Civil Protection.

A partir del lunes 28 de septiembre comenzará a venderse el primer libro del Programa Anual de lectura (materia de Español).Esta actividad se reporta a la SEP. Todos los exámenes relacionados con éste libro se hacen en línea, mediante una clave de acceso proporcionada por la Editorial Santillana para que los alumnos puedan contestar estos exámenes. Los libros estarán disponibles en la escuela a partir del lunes 28.

Además , la escuela pone a su disposición la renta de lockers con un costo de $50.00 al mes, lo cual tiene los siguientes beneficios:
1) Los alumnos no cargarán mucho peso en sus mochilas
2) Los pasillos al interior de los salones estarán libres de paso, en caso de una emergencia y se requiera evacuar los salones.
3) Para cumplir con los requerimientos solicitados por Protección Civil.

Hello kids,

INDEPENDENCE CELEBRATION

Helo Kids,

I hope you are ready to celebrate Mexico's Indepedence Day.  During this week we will study the following:

1st grade: Demostrative pronouns, plurals and singular.
2nd grade: Parts of the sentence, present continuous.
3rd grade: Simple present, sentence order  and vocabulary.

Remember the  Kermesse is on Tuesday 15th  don't miss it, you'll have a lot of fun.

MANUAL DE CONVIVENCIA DE LA CLASE DE INGLÉS BÁSICO.

1.     TRABAJAR CON RESPETO, NO HABLAR SIN PERMISO, NI GRITAR EN CLASE. SE DARÁN REPORTES A QUIENES FALTEN AL RESPETO A MAESTROS Y A COMPAÑEROS.

2.     LOS ALUMNOS DEBERÁN PRESENTARSE CON SU MATERIAL COMPLETO, CUADERNO FORRADO CON PAPEL AZUL PLASTICO Y ETIQUETA DE LA ESCUELA. ESTOS SE REVISARÁN CONSTANTEMENTE. SE  INCENTIVARÁ EL CUMPLIMIENTO DEL MATERIAL (PLUMA, CUADERNO, LIBRO). ESTO FORMARÁ PARTE DE LA EVALUACIÓN CONTINUA, EN CASO DE QUE EL ALUMNO NO TRAIGA PLUMA SE LE PROPORCIONARÁ UNA PARA LA CLASE, SI REINCIDE SE VERÁ AFECTADA SU CALIFICACIÓN Y SE LE MANDARÁ UN REPORTE ACADÉMICO.

3.     LOS TELÉFONOS CELULARES, IPODS, IPADS Y TABLETS, PROPIEDAD DEL ALUMNO, ESTARÁN PERMITIDOS  EN CLASE, ÚNICAMENTE  PARA ACTIVIDADES ACADÉMICAS QUE INDIQUE LA MAESTRA. LA ESCUELA Y LA MAESTRA NO SE HACEN RESPONSABLES DE CUALQUIER APARATO ELECTRÓNICO AJENO AL MATERIAL DE TRABAJO DE LA CLASE (POR PÉRDIDA O DAÑO). EL ÚNICO RESPONSABLE DE ESTOS APARATOS ES EL ALUMNO. (FOMENTO AL VALOR DE LA RESPONSABILIDAD).

4.     QUEDA PROHIBIDO EL USO DE AUDIFONOS EN CLASE.

5.     EL SALON DE CLASE DEBERÁ ESTAR LIMPIO TODO EL TIEMPO.

6.     NO ESTA PERMITIDO COMER EN CLASE. SOLO BEBER AGUA, SIEMPRE Y CUANDO NO SE DERRAME Y EL ENVASE LO DEPOSITE EN EL BOTE DE BASURA.

7.     UTILIZAR PLUMA AZUL O NEGRA EN EL CUADERNO, ESTE DEBERÁ TENER TODOS LOS EJERCICIOS, AUN CUANDO EL ALUMNO LLEGUE A FALTAR A CLASE. EL CUADERNO DEBERÁ ESTAR CON BUENA PRESENTACIÓN.

8.     EN EL SALÓN DE COMPUTACIÓN, LOS ALUMNOS DEBERÁN SEGUIR LAS INDICACIONES DE LA MAESTRA EN TODO MOMENTO. ÚNICAMENTE SE PRESENTARÁN CON CUADERNO Y PLUMA.

9.     LOS ALUMNOS NO TENDRÁN PERMISO PARA SALIR DE CLASE, TAMPOCO PODRÁN PARARSE DE SUS LUGARES SIN PERMISO. SOLO SE PERMITIRÁ SALIR AL BAÑO DE UNO EN UNO A TRAVÉS DEL PASE .

10.   CUANDO SE PASE LISTA TODOS DEBERÁN ESTAR EN ÓRDEN Y EN SILENCIO. SI NO RESPONDEN SERA FALTA.

11.   DEBERÁN ESTAR PUNTUALES EN EL SALON DE CLASES,  YA QUE 3 RETARDOS  SERÁN 1 FALTA. QUIEN TENGA 3 FALTAS INJUSTIFICADAS O POR RETRARDO, TENDRÁ QUE ELABORAR UN TRABAJO ESPECIAL EN EL MES.

12.   CADA INICIO DE SEMANA LAS ACTIVIDADES ESTARÁN EN EL BLOG, PARA PODER  VER FECHAS, RECORDATORIOS, TAREAS. ES IMPORTANTE Y OBLIGATORIO QUE LO CONSULTEN Y NO SERÁ VÁLIDO ARGUMENTAR QUE NO APARECIÓ LA INFORMACIÓN EN EL BLOG.

13.   SE CONSIDERARÁ FALTA QUIEN INCURRA EN LOS SIGUIENTES PUNTOS:

A)    FALTAR A CLASES ESTANDO EN EL PLANTEL.

B)    QUIEN PRESENTE CUADERNO O TRABAJOS AJENOS COMO SUYOS PARA OBTENER UNA CALIFICACIÓN.

C)    SUSTRAER BIENES DE SUS COMPAÑEROS, PROFESORES, PERSONAL Y ESCUELA Y/O PARTICIPAR EN DICHA ACCIÓN.

D)    ORGANIZAR Y/O PARTICIPAR EN JUEGOS O ACTIVIDADES DENTRO DEL SALÓN DE CLASE COMO AVENTARSE COMIDA, PAPELES, ETC.

14.   CUALQUIER PUNTO NO CONSIDERADO EN ESTE REGLAMENTO QUEDARÁ A CRITERIO DE LA MAESTRA Y DE LA DIRECCIÓN DE LA ESCUELA. PUDIENDO AGREGAR, QUITAR O MODIFICAR PUNTOS QUE SE CONSIDEREN NECESARIOS.

EVALUACIÓN: LA EVALUACIÓN SERÁ MENSUAL Y SE PROMEDIARÁN LOS SIGUIENTES ASPECTOS:

1.     EXÁMEN ESCRITO (Gramática, Lectura de comprensión, vocabulario)

2.     HABLAR INGLÉS        

3.     EVALUACIÓN CONTÍNUA (PARTICIPACIÓN, ASISTENCIA).

4.     HACER LAS TAREAS 

5.     CALIFICACION DE LAS TAREAS               

6.     CALIFICACION DE LOS EJERCICIOS DE TABLETS.

7.     CUADERNO.

8.     SE REALIZARÁN TRABAJOS DE RECUPERACIÓN, PARA LOS ALUMNOS QUE LO REQUIERAN, DESPUÉS DEL DIA DE EXAMEN Y LA CALIFICACIÓN DE ESTOS TRABAJOS SERÁ DE 6 o 7 COMO MÁXIMO, POR RESPETO A LOS COMPAÑEROS QUE CUMPLIERON.

 

NO HABRÁ EXCENTOS. EL ALUMNO AUNQUE TENGA 10 DE PROMEDIO DE SEPTIEMBRE A MAYO, SI REPRUEBA EL EXAMEN FINAL TENDRÁ QUE PRESENTAR EXAMEN DE RECUPERACIÓN CON COSTO.

FINAL EXAM 3RD GRADE

Hello Kids,

ALL groups on Monday 22nd you'll have to explain your model this is for grade.

3rd grade: The exam is on Tuesday 23rd, study the vocabulary. The following days we will do exercises and games for practise.

1st and 2nd grade: We will practise the song  "Don't forget where you belong". Bring your money for copies or bring the song printed, on Monday 22nd.

3er grado: El examen es el martes 23, estudien el vocabulario. Los siguientes dias haremos juegos y ejercicios de práctica.

FINAL EXAMS

During this week 1st and 2nd grade will do the final exam. Remember it's important to study the vocabulary for the exam. We will do some practise before the exam date (Wednesday, June 17th).

3rd grade during this week we will practise vocabulary, listening and written exercises.

FINAL PROJECTS AND WEEK´S WORK.

Hello Kids,

During this week we will check the oral exposition for your final project and we will review the following topics for all grades: practise vocabulary for final exam, we will watch a video in class and on Friday we will do a reading comprehension exercise. Don't forget to bring your tablets on Friday, June 12th.

Quienes faltan de traer su proyecto final recuerden que deben hacer una maqueta de acuerdo a los temas por grado:
1er grado: Comics
2o grado: Caricaturas. Ésta maqueta debe traer un tema de Física ya que es proyecto para las 2 materias.
3er grado: Películas animadas.

La maqueta puede ser en equipo o individual y deben presentar por escrito (máximo 1 cuartilla) una explicación de la maqueta y éso mismo lo presentarán oral.

Durante ésta semana revisaremos la exposición que presentarán de sus maquetas y estudiaremos los temas siguientes: practicaremos vocabulario para el examen final, veremos un video y el viernes 12 no olviden traer sus tablets, ya que haremos un ejercicio de lectura de comprensión.

Recuerden: "Todo alumno que en el examen final tenga calificación de 5.9 para abajo, deberá presentar un examen de recuperación con costo".
